Job Title: Doc Prep Processor

Job Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of a Doc Prep Processor at the law firm is to provide a comprehensive range of legal support and administrative assistance to lawyers and other legal professionals. This role is crucial in the firm's practice of representing financial institutions in various legal proceedings, including bankruptcy, collections, foreclosure, litigation, and residential real estate or mortgage law. The specific duties, activities, and responsibilities include:

- Assisting attorneys in representing clients in bankruptcy proceedings.
- Reviewing daily reports to ensure efficient and timely handling of files.
- Analyzing information and documents provided by clients to determine if a referral is warranted.
- Organizing, analyzing, and cross-checking/validating information.
- Drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, objections, and assignments.
- Proofreading legal forms and documents for accuracy.
- Providing support to paralegals, management, and attorneys.
- Assisting with additional projects as needed.

Education and Experience Information:
The position requires a high school diploma. While previous law firm experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. Experience in bankruptcy or mortgage servicing is also preferred but not required. Candidates should possess relevant computer knowledge and experience, excellent communication (both oral and written), and interpersonal skills. Additionally, strong planning and organizing skills, attention to detail, accuracy, research, analytical, and critical thinking skills are essential for the role.

Salary Information:
The pay type for this position is hourly.
