Job Title: Sr. Analyst, Accounts Payable

Job Responsibilities:
The Sr. Analyst, Accounts Payable at the law firm is tasked with managing and executing a range of duties related to the processing of Accounts Payable transactions. The role requires ensuring efficient, accurate, and timely processing of payments in line with the firm's guidelines, procedures, policies, and budgets. Key responsibilities include:

- Troubleshooting system problems, becoming an expert in Chrome River, and testing and proving routing and compliance rules within the system.
- Proactively identifying areas of opportunity and making recommendations to management for workflow, process improvements, internal controls, and customer service enhancements.
- Assisting with monthly and year-end closings, and troubleshooting issues with partners.
- Managing the firm's credit card programs and reviewing/approving weekly Accounts Payable payment schedules.
- Partnering and supporting the outsourced Accounts Payable team from Canon to ensure all firm invoices and employee reimbursements are paid.
- Reviewing, auditing, and approving vendor invoices and expense reports for compliance with firm policies and procedures.
- Reviewing and processing global payment schedules for vendor invoices and employee expense reimbursements using various payment methods such as checks, wires, ACH, credit cards, and electronic payments.
- Performing manual invoice entry and vendor uploads as needed in the ERP System Aderant.
- Maintaining vendor information and responding timely to internal and vendor inquiries.
- Researching, analyzing, and resolving issues related to the processing of invoices, expense reimbursements, and statements.
- Creating and processing “zero checks” for allocation re-classing.
- Supporting vendor onboarding, including TIN matching & verification for domestic and international vendors and employees, and performing verification of banking and remittance for all vendors.
- Maintaining the Vendor Masterfile and AP Aging reports.
- Assisting with US sales tax, VAT, and 1099 reporting.
- Working closely with the accounting team to resolve reconciling items on bank statements.

Education and Experience Information:
The ideal candidate for the Sr. Analyst, Accounts Payable position should possess:

- A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of related accounts payable experience.
- Functional expertise and excellent customer service skills.
- Experience with Chrome River or related expense management systems.
- The ability to break down problems into manageable tasks and exhibit accountability for providing timely and high-quality services to the business.
- Proactiveness with the ability to take initiative and execute independently, while also being able to work well within a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to ask for help when appropriate.
- A disposition towards looking for opportunities to improve and openness to new ideas.
- High organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively based on urgency and relevance.
- A high level of detail orientation.

Salary Information:
The target salary range for the Sr. Analyst, Accounts Payable position varies by location and is commensurate with relevant experience, ranging from $87, to $116,.
