Job Title: Firm Administrator / Bookkeeper
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee full-cycle accounting including billing, accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), and payroll.
- Prepare and manage budgets, and oversee month-end and year-end financial reporting.
- Manage benefits administration and coordinate with various vendors.
- Ensure effective utilization of information systems and legal software.
- Supervise office procedures, including supply management and facility oversight.
- Support leadership in the implementation of strategic initiatives.
- Maintain a high standard of client service and uphold confidentiality.
Education and Experience Information:
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years in bookkeeping, with at least 3 years in a senior administrative or leadership position.
- Education: An associate's or bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, iManage, Sage TimeSlips, and other legal software is required.
- Soft Skills: The candidate must be detail-oriented, trustworthy, and possess a positive attitude. Strong organizational, delegation, and time-management skills are essential. The ability to work independently, set priorities, and excellent communication and client service skills are also necessary.
