Overview:
Newrez is a leading mortgage company that values its employees and rewards superior performance. We are looking for a Director - Foreclosure (On-site) to oversee and direct our Foreclosure Department, manage staffing levels, and maintain client relationships.

Primary Function:
As the Director of Foreclosure, you will monitor and direct all aspects of the Foreclosure Department. This includes managing daily attorney contact, reporting, and procedures, as well as client presentations, monthly performance reviews, and rating agency meetings.

Direct Reports:
- Manager - Foreclosure
- Sr Manager - Foreclosure

Principal Duties:
- Provide guidance and leadership to department managers and supervisors
- Monitor workflow, processes, volume, and performance
- Design and implement programs to improve foreclosure processing
- Utilize data to analyze and adjust department results and metrics
- Drive process change and implement new programs
- Develop policies, procedures, and training for team positions
- Ensure compliance with foreclosure laws and regulations
- Review and approve foreclosure bids, escalated issues, and litigation settlements
- Meet department timeline and production goals
- Hire, train, and evaluate employee and management performance
- Ensure strict adherence to guidelines and policies
- Work with legal/compliance, attorney network management, and external audit
- Communicate with all levels of management and maintain relationships
- Multi-task and manage priorities while meeting deadlines
- Participate in due diligence research for loan portfolio purchases
- Stay updated on applicable laws and regulations
- Develop a people-centric culture and train future leaders
- Perform other duties as assigned by management

Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required, JD or Master’s preferred
- 8+ years of foreclosure/mortgage default-related experience
- 5+ years of leadership experience

Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements:
- Effective communication skills
- Knowledge of secured asset servicing
- Understanding of GSE and GNMA servicing requirements
- Thorough understanding of foreclosure rules and processes
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience with legal obligations of mortgage servicers/debt collectors
- Managerial skills, including organization and leadership
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
