Job Title: Litigation Legal Assistant
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist lawyers and paralegals with day-to-day tasks related to personal injury cases.
- Perform administrative duties, including coordinating meetings, scheduling, answering and directing telephone calls, maintaining and organizing electronic case files, and updating files with case status and information.
- Schedule hearings, depositions, mediations, conferences, and other events.
- Compile and organize documents, preparing binders and/or folders.
- Edit client legal files in a database format by uploading documents, reports, attachments, and other data as assigned by the Attorney and AL.
- Assist with intake of new calls and potential clients.
- Request and organize medical and billing records.
Education and Experience Information:

- Must have at least 1 year of experience.
Job Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, vendors, staff, and others.
- Ability to operate a multi-line telephone system and office equipment such as computers, printers, scanners, and copiers.
- Strong verbal, written, and phone communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Attention to detail and highly organized.
- Positive and upbeat attitude.
- Patience in dealing with difficult visitors or calls.
- Dependability.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred.
- Strong multi-tasking ability.
Salary Information:
- $20 - $25 per hour.
- Full-time position with benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement, and PTO.
