Overview:
Law firm **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is seeking a Paralegal with a minimum of 5 years of experience in construction defect litigation to join their Complex Litigation team. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of cases and provide support to attorneys in all stages of litigation, from onset through post-trial. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, ability to handle multiple priorities, and excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities:
• Assisting attorneys in all stages of litigation cases
• Overseeing organization and maintenance of electronic and hard-copy documents
• Assisting with large-scale projects outside of typical litigation scope
• Participating in document reviews and productions
• Conducting legal and fact research using various platforms
• Assisting with law and motion practice
• Drafting pleadings, motions, notices, and other court filings
• Familiarity with federal and state rules of procedure and evidence
• Performing and overseeing cite-checking and proofreading
• Assisting with trial preparations and maintenance of trial calendars
• Preparation of post-trial filings and organization for potential appeals
• Timely and accurate timekeeping records
• Assisting with other department activities as needed

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree and Paralegal Certification preferred, equivalent experience considered
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal in a multi-lawyer law firm
• NALA certification preferred
• Exceptional computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly
• Trial experience and knowledge of subpoena preparation
• Proficiency in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with e-filing and litigation support applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple matters simultaneously
• Flexibility to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
