Job Responsibilities
The Chapter 13 Admin Assistant is tasked with supporting the department in resolving issues related to unclaimed funds and disbursement address discrepancies, along with other assigned duties. Key responsibilities include:

- Researching and processing new and existing bankruptcy accounts, ensuring compliance with the FDCPA, . Bankruptcy Code, and any local jurisdiction rules.
- Providing priority mail sorting and distributing all correspondence received within the department.
- Reviewing and processing pertinent Amended Plans received within the department.
- Assisting in claim generation production.
- Reporting all discrepancies regarding an account to management.
- Handling inbound calls from trustees and attorneys as needed.
- Communicating clearly, concisely, and professionally with all business partners.
- Conforming with and abiding by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
- Participating in departmental staff meetings, ongoing training programs, and special projects as assigned by department management.

Education and Experience Information
Preferred Experience:

- At least one year of administrative experience.

Skills/Requirements:

- Strong organization skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Ability to handle a high volume of data entry.
- Must be able to type 45+ words per minute.
- Must be able to work well independently and as a team member.
- Must have basic office skills and be able to use standard office equipment.

- 1-2 years of data entry experience.

Computer Equipment and Software Requirements:

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Internet Software.
- Ability to learn in-house software.

Salary Information
The position is full-time, with a pay rate of per hour.
