Paralegal Duties: Drafting and reviewing basic closing documents, including conveyance documents, collateral documents, resolutions, certificates, and other closing deliverables. Facilitating and conducting basic real estate diligence (., title, survey, construction, and environmental) and document review and preparation. Generally managing and coordinating due diligence and closing processes in conjunction with the attorney team, including maintaining closing checklists and coordinating document signings and compilation of closing documents and other closing logistics. Conducting and coordinating title and survey due diligence, and review/resolution of title and survey issues.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in addition to a Paralegal certificate is preferred. Experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, in conjunction with a 2 year of Paralegal degree/certification may be considered. Should have 1 year of experience in a law firm, corporate legal department, or title company. A basic understanding of real estate acquisition and financing transactions and documentation is strongly preferred. Strong organizational skills. Strong familiarity with technology (., Word, Excel, etc.)
