The Role of Corporate Paralegal

As a Corporate Paralegal at Bush Ross, you will be an essential part of our team, providing support to our attorneys in a variety of corporate matters. Your responsibilities will include:

- Preparation of UCC financing statements, ordering and reviewing UCC searches, and drafting closing documents
- Assisting with corporate formations, annual reporting, stock transfers, and other general corporate matters
- Supporting major corporate transactions, such as venture capital investments, stock offerings, and mergers/acquisitions
- Maintaining corporate entities by managing state filings, registered agent status, and ensuring timely renewals
- Conducting research on laws governing business organizations and drafting analyses of findings
- Performing online records research and drafting corporate documents
- Reviewing and summarizing corporate documents, including leases, amendments, title commitments/policies, and business/loan acquisitions
- Providing administrative support as needed

Requirements for the Role

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

- At least 3 years of experience as a corporate paralegal
- Excellent attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding organizational and time management abilities
- A self-starter attitude and a strong team player mentality
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
- Working knowledge of flowchart software
- Experience in performing background searches and public records searches
