Job Title: Data Analyst
Job Responsibilities:
The Data Analyst at the law firm is a pivotal role in advancing the firm's data strategy, focusing on innovation and automation. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, prototyping, and deploying AI agents such as chatbots and scenario simulators to enhance finance and analytics workflows.
- Collaborating with the Director of Data Analytics and FP&A leadership to identify automation opportunities through AI/ML.
- Investigating data quality issues and applying data stewardship techniques and the latest technologies for solutions.
- Developing AI-ready data models to leverage copilot integrations and modernizing current models for AI-readiness.
- Designing, developing, and documenting solutions to streamline processes, improve data quality, and drive intelligent solutions.
- Leading research and evaluation of new operational solutions and technologies.
- Developing and maintaining data reporting tools and systems using the firm's data analytics platform, Power BI.
- Identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to support strategic decision-making.
- Developing predictive models to forecast trends, client behaviors, and market opportunities, keeping the firm competitive.
- Contributing to the AI knowledge base by sharing learnings, testing new tools, and assisting in training others.
- Collaborating with different departments to understand data needs and support data-driven decision-making processes.
Education and Experience Information:
Minimum Education:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
Certificates:
- Certifications are not required but are considered a plus in areas such as GenAI, machine learning, and data analytics.
Minimum Years of Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience in data analytics, as a Data Analyst or a similar role, with experience in data modeling and statistical analysis, preferably with exposure to AI/Machine Learning projects.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, or agent frameworks is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret large datasets and provide actionable insights.
- High proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau), report development (SSRS/Power BI Paginated Reporting), and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience with advanced statistical methods and data modeling.
- High proficiency in SQL and programming languages (Python/R/VBA) or other relevant programming languages.
- Experience with Machine Learning and AI implementation.
- Experience with Copilot Studio or similar tools for AI agent development.
- Ability to work in an agile environment, adapt to changing business needs, and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
- Willingness to learn and grow in the rapidly changing data environment.
Salary Information:
The law firm’s expected hiring range for this position is between $77,370 and $107,177 per year, depending on the candidate’s geographic market location. Compensation will also be dependent on factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, educational and professional background, and overall qualifications. A comprehensive package of benefits is offered, including medical, dental, vision insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
