The **Members Only** US LLP law firm is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Legal Recruitment to join our team. This role will report to the Chief Operating Officer and work closely with the US firm leadership team to lead and develop recruitment strategies and processes that align with the firm's growth goals. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic recruitment leadership roles within a professional services organization, with a strong focus on partner and lateral recruitment. The position can be based in any of our US offices, with a preference for New York or Washington, DC.
Responsibilities:
- Define and implement best practices, policies, and procedures for partner, lateral, and summer associate recruitment.
- Manage all legal recruitment, including summer associate, contract attorney, paralegal, and intern hiring.
- Collaborate with firm departments to understand and fulfill recruitment requirements.
- Develop and manage the recruitment team and budget.
- Stay informed on industry trends and innovations to make recommendations and implement new processes and policies.
- Provide strategic guidance to US leadership on recruitment matters.
- Work closely with search firms in key markets and the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic recruitment leadership roles.
- Legal experience preferred.
- Familiarity with student recruiting preferred.
- Strong relationships with outside search firms in key markets.
- Extensive expertise in partner recruitment practices and innovation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders with confidence.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven experience leading and developing a team.
- Analytical and business-minded.
- High level of emotional intelligence.
Salary:
- New York and Washington DC: $215k to $315k DOE
