Job Title: Director of Client Development – Legal Solutions

Job Responsibilities:
- Build and execute a comprehensive sales operations strategy to grow revenue across all target client segments, including internal stakeholders, Fortune 500 corporate clients, and external clients.
- Establish the framework for a future sales team, focusing on growing and scaling the team over time to meet ambitious growth targets, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and client-centricity.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the partnership and Fortune 500 legal/compliance departments, leveraging relationships to position the firm as the go-to solution provider for legal and advisory services, including e-discovery, document review, investigations, digital forensics, forensic accounting, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
- Drive brand awareness through targeted marketing campaigns, thought leadership, and industry events, positioning the firm as a leader in legal technology and advisory services.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with partners, attorneys, and key corporate decision-makers to ensure seamless integration of services into their workflows and client offerings.
- Partner with service team leaders to align sales initiatives with service capabilities, ensuring offerings meet the needs of key practice areas (., litigation, regulatory, transactional) and industry verticals (., financial services, healthcare, technology).
- Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs to refine the value proposition and go-to-market approach.
- Establish and track KPIs to measure sales performance, client satisfaction, and market penetration, reporting progress to the Global Partner and senior leadership.

Education and Experience Information:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Juris Doctor (JD) or advanced degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a strong plus but not mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum of 12 years of progressive sales leadership experience with a proven track record of building sales operations and leading growth initiatives at a Big 4 consulting firm, legal service provider, or legal technology company. Experience working with or selling to Am Law 100 law firms and Fortune 500 companies. Knowledge of key practice areas (., litigation, financial services, regulatory) and industry verticals (., healthcare, energy, technology). A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a matrixed organization as the inaugural sales leader.

Skills:
- Deep understanding of legal services, legal technology, and advisory services, with specific experience selling investigations, digital forensics, forensic accounting, cybersecurity, and digital transformation solutions to law firms and/or corporate legal and compliance departments.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement sales strategies from the ground up, with the vision to grow and manage a team in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and networking skills, with a history of forging trusted partnerships with senior stakeholders, including law firm partners and C-suite executives.
- Familiarity with legal tech solutions (., e-discovery platforms, AI-driven contract management, project management tools) and specialized services such as digital forensics, cybersecurity tools, and digital transformation platforms is highly desirable.
- Expertise in developing and executing go-to-market strategies that drive revenue growth and brand recognition.

- Chicago, Philadelphia, Wilmington: $210,469-$279,591
- Tysons, Princeton, Washington, DC: $224,238-$297,882
- New York, Sacramento: $232,106-$308,334
- Northern California: $245,875-$326,625

Working Conditions:
- Works in a typical office setting and/or remotely. Required to work in the office a minimum of 2 days per week. Occasionally called upon to work hours in excess of the normal daily schedule. Details of the weekly schedule will be discussed further with the direct supervisor.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and collaborate with offices globally.
