Summary:

**Members Only** is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant General Counsel to join our Legal Department in supporting our internal clients and partners in all facets of marketing contractual and advisory matters. This position is available in two locations - Charlotte, North Carolina and Atlanta, Georgia. The ideal candidate will possess a Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA accredited law school and be licensed to practice law in good standing in the jurisdiction where they are located. The candidate should also have a minimum of 3 years of post-bar experience in a law firm or corporate setting with a focus on providing legal support in marketing contractual and advisory matters.

Responsibilities:

- Provide support to attorneys within the Legal Department and lines of business
- Assess legal risk and provide legal advice on routine matters
- Keep abreast of legislation, regulations, and case law developments
- Prepare and/or review routine documents and instruments
- Develop an initial area of specialization in support of specific lines of business
- Serve as an individual contributor and provide ad hoc work direction to other legal staff

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in good standing
- Minimum of 3 years of post-bar experience in a law firm or corporate setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage a heavy workload
- Team-oriented mentality and excellent interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in basic computer applications
