Job Responsibilities:
The Marketing Assistant/Coordinator at the law firm will play a crucial role in supporting the firm's marketing initiatives. Key responsibilities include:
- On-boarding New Attorneys: This involves coordinating photography/headshots, uploading contacts into Constant Contact, distributing press releases, updating LinkedIn profiles, and managing blogging/new attorney announcements.
- Advertising and Directory Listings: The role requires coordination with attorneys and the CMO/Marketing Group for advertising requests, directory listings, announcements, and biography updates for attorneys and paralegals. It also involves serving as the firm's point of contact for recognition platforms and managing updates and announcements.
- Event Coordination: Responsibilities include coordinating with the CMO/Marketing Group on event invites, RSVPs, and managing caterers/venue spaces. The Marketing Assistant/Coordinator will also be the main contact for online leads, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate attorneys and tracked via Prolaw software.
- Meetings: The position involves regular meetings with the CMO/Marketing Group to review tasks and upcoming initiatives, as well as participating in the Marketing Committee meeting once a month and collaborating with the Marketing Chairperson.
- Administrative Duties: The role includes assisting with administrative tasks such as attorney licensure/membership renewals, managing printed material stock and ordering, and handling marketing-related software renewals.
The candidate must possess strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills, a proactive and energetic attitude, project management experience, and time-management skills to handle multiple time-sensitive projects. Familiarity with various marketing platforms and channels, including social media, print campaigns, digital marketing, and email promotions, is essential. The role also requires strong analytical skills to evaluate marketing metrics, a high degree of creativity and innovation, and experience with marketing software programs such as Constant Contact, Photoshop, Word, Excel, and Prolaw.
