Job Title: Legal Nurse Consultant
Job Responsibilities:
- Establish, organize, and maintain case files, medical records, pleadings, attorney notebooks, expert witness notebooks, and document indices and lists.
- Review, analyze, and summarize case files, medical records, and other applicable documents for the purpose of preparing matter evaluations and status reports.
- Arrange for expert witness inspections and obtain approval from counsel of record and specified parties.
- Perform assigned medical research using all available resources.
- Verify citations and references in written and computer-generated materials for accuracy.
Education and Experience Information:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing with 5+ years of clinical experience.
- Prior experience as a legal nurse consultant, with knowledge of legal principles and practices at a level normally acquired through formal paralegal training or its equivalent.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to review materials and analyze for accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work overtime.
Salary Information:
The anticipated full-time annualized salary range is $115,000 - $150,000. The salary offer will be contingent upon various factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, internal equity, market data, job location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
