Practice Development Manager - Join Our Marketing + Business Development Team at Law Firm Warner Norcross + Judd!
Overview:
Warner Norcross + Judd, a full-service corporate law firm with 230+ attorneys, is seeking a Practice Development Manager to join our Marketing + Business Development team in Grand Rapids or Detroit. This role provides strategic support to practice and industry group leaders to deliver exceptional client service and guides practice groups to stay focused on and achieve their strategic goals and objectives. Responsibilities:
Practice & Industry Group Management
As the Practice Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic business plans for assigned practice and industry groups. You will collaborate with practice and industry group leadership to create agendas for regular meetings and manage action items. In addition, you will identify topics and opportunities for seminars, coordinate logistics with the Events Manager, and support the implementation of business development activities in partnership with Business Development Managers. Other responsibilities include supervising and directing the Practice Group & Proposal Development Coordinator and collaborating with the Marketing and Business Development team on special projects as needed.
Experience Database Management
In this role, you will also manage the Firm’s experience database (Deal & Cases) linked to the external website. You will collaborate with client service managers and teams to draft and finalize descriptions of Warner’s work on behalf of clients. Additionally, you will oversee the process of posting new experience summaries on the website and other marketing materials, including proposals and sales documents.

About You:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of professional experience. Experience in a professional services environment is preferred.
