Duane Morris LLP, a leading global law firm with over 800 attorneys in offices around the world, is looking for an experienced Billing Coordinator to join our Finance department. In this role, you will play a key role in supporting our billing processes and ensuring timely and accurate handling of billing matters.
Essential Functions:
- Review, sort, and process billing matters for attorney review
- Coordinate billing and payment procedures for new and existing clients
- Manage e-billing process when necessary
- Create and structure billing reports with focus on data accuracy
- Maintain accurate records of client guidelines
- Utilize Excel to create functions, formulas, and manipulate large sets of data
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of law firm billing experience
- Intermediate level Excel skills required
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with minimal direction
- Experience preparing legal billing reports
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with attorneys and clients on a daily basis
- Excellent communication and time management skills
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree or billing/finance certification preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of law firm billing experience
