Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal The candidate will assist as Litigation Paralegal for two attorneys. Maintain litigation calendar and case management system. Conduct case investigation and legal research. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses and e-file them with both State and Federal courts. Perform administrative duties (answer phone calls, calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, schedule depositions, mediations, and hearing dates, etc.). Prepare trial notebooks and organize exhibits, evidence, briefs and appendices. Act as a liaison between courts, clerks, clients, and attorneys, as needed. Help with voir dire, jury selection and witnesses preparation. Order medical and billing records in admissible form. Provide assistance with case settlements and settlement documents. Prepare final settlement statements, request medical billing reductions, hospital and Medicare/Medicaid/Child Support lien resolution. Must have 3+ years of prior personal injury experience. Should have 3+ years of Paralegals & Legal Assistants experience. Should preferably have 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience.
