Job Title: Mass Tort Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
- Preparation of legal documents such as depositions and pleadings
- File documents with courts
- Summarize cases and prepare reports for attorneys
- Organize and manage documents, including managing spreadsheets and retrieval systems
- Act as liaison among various parties including court for scheduling and sharing information
- Coordinate the collection, review, and production of documents and respond to discovery requests
- Assist with conducting research and investigating facts
- Assist with trial preparation including assembly of exhibits, witness binders, and appendices for depositions and court filings
- Coordinate large-scale document jobs with Office Services
- Perform other related duties as assigned

- Knowledge of legal terminology and legal system
- Aptitude for learning new applications, systems, and processes
- Proficient with electronic court filing
- Proficient with Microsoft Office365
- Proficient with document management systems, iManage preferred
- Proficient in ShareFile and Kroll preferred
Education and Experience Information:
- High school degree or equivalent required
- College degree or Paralegal Certification from an ABA-accredited program preferred, or a combination of education and/or experience
- Minimum two years substantive experience as a paralegal/legal assistant in a law firm setting
- Experience in Mass Tort will be highly considered
Salary Information:
In compliance with New York and New Jersey Pay Transparency Law, the salary range for this position is $68,000 to $80,000. The salary information is a general guideline only, as various factors will be considered to determine the offer for this role, including the scope and responsibilities of the position, relevant work skills and experience, and education.
