Job Responsibilities:
The Legal Assistant position at the law firm involves providing support to the Public Information Act Request Team. Key responsibilities include:
- Communication Services: Managing emails, calendars, contact information, phone calls, voicemail messages, and conference calls using systems such as Outlook.
- Document Services: Proofreading and revising letters to the Attorney General’s Office and Public Information Act requestors, opening Public Information Act requests, calculating request deadlines, and drafting, proofreading, revising, and formatting various types of documents and emails.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates should have a minimum of two years of experience as a Legal Assistant. The position requires strong proofreading, formatting, writing, and organizational skills, alongside a pleasant attitude and good work ethic.
