Job Title: Subpoena Clerk
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist lawyers and paralegals with issuing subpoenas, ensuring all processes comply with legal standards and deadlines.
- Conduct follow-up calls to verify the status of subpoenas and communicate effectively with relevant parties to ensure timely processing.
- Organize records and other materials in an efficient manner to facilitate easy access and retrieval.
- Maintain detailed records on a spreadsheet, ensuring that all data is accurate and up-to-date.
- Ensure that all tasks are timely and properly documented to maintain a high standard of administrative support.
Education and Experience Information:
- Must have at least 1-2 years of experience working in a law firm in an administrative role.
- Familiarity with legal procedures and terminology is essential for understanding and executing job responsibilities effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required to interact with legal professionals and external parties.
- Excellent computer skills, including some knowledge of Outlook, Excel, and Word, are necessary for managing documents and communications.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment is crucial for success in this role.
