Job Title: Paralegal - LIT/CML
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality billable work and record time in accordance with client and law firm policies.
- Conduct case research and investigation to support litigation processes.
- Analyze and summarize medical and other related records to assist in case preparation.
- Manage the collection, organization, and production of electronic documents.
- Draft discovery documents and subpoenas to facilitate legal proceedings.
- Collaborate with expert consultants and witnesses to strengthen case presentations.
- Assist multiple attorneys through all phases of litigation to ensure comprehensive legal support.
- Availability for limited travel to clients and other law firm offices as required.
Education and Experience Information:
- The candidate must possess a college degree, an ABA-approved paralegal certificate, or equivalent experience in the field.
- A minimum of three years of experience in commercial litigation is required.
- Strong knowledge and experience with discovery processes are essential.
- The candidate should have experience accessing and reviewing court dockets, with specific knowledge of state and federal court rules, as well as asbestos court dockets.
- Successful candidates will also have pre-trial experience and be highly skilled in technical and database management.
Salary Information:
- The position is compensated on an hourly pay basis.
