Job Title: Spanish Speaking Legal Assistant

Job Responsibilities:
- Manage office correspondence by answering phone calls and emails, and communicate effectively with opposing attorney offices.
- Arrange meetings and travel, ensuring that the legal team is informed of upcoming deadlines.
- Assist in the preparation of legal documents and fee agreements, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, affidavits, contracts, and briefs for case preparation.
- Proofread legal documents when necessary.
- Schedule meetings and appointments, such as depositions, and coordinate with outside vendors for events.
- Undertake any other administrative tasks needed to ensure the efficient operation of the law firm.

Education and Experience Information:
- Must speak fluent Spanish.
- Must have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a legal assistant.
- Experience with legal software, case management, and docketing programs is required. Experience with Clio and/or Lawmatics is a significant advantage.
- Must be able to type at least 50 words per minute.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines with quick turnaround times.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, Adobe, and Gmail is essential.

Salary Information:
- Compensation ranges from $40,000 to $59,000, commensurate with experience.
- Additional performance bonuses are available.
