Job Title: Litigation Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
- Drafting, preparing, and formatting motions, pleadings, discovery demands, and responses.
- Obtaining and delivering copies of medical treatment records, bills, and related schedules.
- Reviewing and organizing document productions.
- Assisting clients, court staff, experts, and other vendors.
- Handling outgoing mail, delivery, certified/registered postage, and other clerical obligations.
Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Paralegal studies is required; equivalent experience may be substituted.
- Preferably at least two years of relevant work experience.
- Candidates currently enrolled in law school or holding a paralegal degree are preferred.
- Experience with New Jersey and New York law, specifically NJ Court Rules and NY CPLR, is essential.
Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; native or native-level fluency in English is required. Bilingual candidates with Spanish-speaking ability are encouraged to apply.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Lexis, and other relevant software.
- Ability to operate computer, fax machine, scanner, photocopier, typewriter, and telephone.
- Ability to work under deadline pressure.
Work Environment:
- The position is within a professional law office environment with a moderate noise level.
- The applicant is required to sit, talk, hear, and see, and occasionally stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
Salary Information:
- The position offers a salary range of $70,000 to $75,000 per year.
- Pay may depend on skills and/or qualifications.

Schedule:
- Full-time position.
- Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 6 PM.
- 8-hour day shift.
Work Location:
- Hybrid remote work setting in Jersey City, NJ.
