Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day operations of the law firm, including administrative tasks and supporting legal team
- Organize and maintain case files, pleadings, and discovery indexes
- Assist with document management, including collecting, examining, and organizing evidence for attorney review
- Draft and proofread legal documents and correspondence
- Research legal regulations, laws, and articles to assist with case preparation
- Communicate with clients and witnesses to schedule meetings and interviews
- Manage client billing and resolve billing issues with the billing attorney
- Maintain paper and electronic filing systems

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or GED required, associate's degree or paralegal certificate preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an administrative assistant, legal assistant, legal secretary, or paralegal, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department
- Experience in Personal Injury, WC, Premises, or other injury related practice areas preferred
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of legal procedures, practices, and documentation
- Highly organized with the ability to meet deadlines
