# Compliance Liaison, Employee Health & Benefits (MMA Mid-Atlantic)

We’re looking for a Compliance Liaison to join our Employee Health & Benefits (“EHB”) team and help us deliver purposeful work and meaningful impact every day.

## About the Role

As our Compliance Liaison on the EHB team, you’ll be responsible for providing the MMA Mid-Atlantic Region with clarification and guidance on a broad range of compliance topics applicable to health and welfare plans. You’ll work directly with MMA’s Compliance Center of Excellence, regional carrier partners, and our regional Producer/Account Management Leadership Groups. Your responsibilities will include conducting research, responding to benefits compliance inquiries, and providing internal training for our employee benefit consultants and support teams.

## Qualifications

* Minimum of 5-7 years previous insurance agency/brokerage experience in employee benefits
* In-depth understanding of Health & Welfare Plans and compliance resources
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills; take initiative; be solution focused; and be a change agent for the organization
* Detailed knowledge of the agency procedures, and corporate, industry, state and federal compliance regulations
* Bachelor’s degree, Paralegal degree or equivalent experience preferred
* Paralegal Certification preferred
* Legal work authorization to work in the . on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship
