Burr & Forman LLP is seeking a Legal Practice Assistant to join our team in Birmingham, AL. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative and highly respected law firm. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience as a legal secretary or assistant in a law firm or corporate legal department, with a strong understanding of legal terminology and processes. Responsibilities include performing complex administrative duties, preparing and proofreading legal documents, filing documents in court, maintaining calendars and deadlines, and coordinating logistics for meetings and travel. The successful candidate will also have strong communication skills, be highly organized and detail-oriented, and have a desire to take ownership as a contributing member of the team. Some overtime may be required.
