Job Title: Director, Paralegals - Foley & Lardner LLP

Salary:
- Expected salary range of $171,800 - $280,100, based on factors such as education, experience, and geographic market.

Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of legal and/or paraprofessional experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Experience working with paraprofessionals in multiple practice areas (corporate, litigation, and/or IP) preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a firmwide paraprofessional program encompassing all three law departments, with a focus on providing superior client support.
- Analyze and improve existing paraprofessional programs and staffing structures.
- Implement strategic and innovative approaches to process improvement and client service.
- Develop hiring criteria and frameworks for development and advancement, ensuring consistency across departments.
- Support professional development through onboarding, integration, and ongoing training programs.
- Proactively address attorney and client support needs and create workflow coverage plans.
- Collaborate with legal departments, accounting & finance, and human resources on paraprofessional billing rates and budgeting.
- Build relationships with paraprofessional team, firm leaders, attorneys, and other stakeholders to achieve goals.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Strong managerial experience in a legal or paraprofessional setting.
- Experience in multiple practice areas preferred.

Are you an experienced legal professional with a strong background in management? Foley & Lardner LLP is currently seeking a Director, Paralegals to join our team. This is a full-time, exempt position with a hybrid workplace arrangement.

As the Director, you will oversee all aspects of our paraprofessional program, which includes three law departments - Business Law, Intellectual Property, and Litigation. You will be responsible for strategic direction and management of recruiting, onboarding, training, performance, and compensation for our paraprofessional team.

We are looking for someone with a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years of legal and/or paraprofessional experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role. Experience working with paraprofessionals in multiple practice areas is preferred.
