Job Title: Director, Paralegals - Foley & Lardner LLP

Salary:
- Expected salary range of $171,800 - $280,100, based on factors such as education, experience, and geographic market.

Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of legal and/or paraprofessional experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Experience working with paraprofessionals in multiple practice areas (corporate, litigation, and/or IP) preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a firmwide paraprofessional program encompassing all three law departments, with a focus on providing superior client support.
- Analyze and improve existing paraprofessional programs and staffing structures.
- Implement strategic and innovative approaches to process improvement and client service.
- Develop hiring criteria and frameworks for development and advancement, ensuring consistency across departments.
- Support professional development through onboarding, integration, and ongoing training programs.
- Proactively address attorney and client support needs and create workflow coverage plans.
- Collaborate with legal departments, accounting & finance, and human resources on paraprofessional billing rates and budgeting.
- Build relationships with paraprofessional team, firm leaders, attorneys, and other stakeholders to achieve goals.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Strong managerial experience in a legal or paraprofessional setting.
- Experience in multiple practice areas preferred.
