Farah & Farah, a premier personal injury law firm in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team. Our mission is to deliver justice for our clients with relentless dedication, uncompromising support, professionalism, and compassion.

As a Litigation Paralegal, you will be an integral part of our litigation team, working closely with attorneys to ensure the smooth running of the office and effective case management. You will be responsible for conducting interviews, legal research, document filing, and attending trials (if applicable).

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on federal and state court litigation cases from onset to trial phase. Your responsibilities will include drafting pleadings, motions, and appellate documents, as well as performing administrative duties such as calendar hearings and deadlines, organizing case files, and managing logistics. You will also assist with preparation of federal and state administrative filings, maintain pleadings and discovery indexes, organize exhibits and documents, and assist with case settlements.

Qualifications:

- 3+ years of working experience in Personal Injury law as a Litigation Paralegal
- Experience with federal and state court litigation cases
- Familiarity with federal and state procedures and court rules
- Knowledge of legal technology and case management software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Professional presentation and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Paralegal associates degree or relevant certification preferred

Responsibilities:

- Conduct pre-claim investigation, legal research, and initial case assessments
- Draft pleadings, motions and appellate documents and file them with the court
- Perform administrative duties such as calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, and manage logistics
- Assist with preparation of federal and state administrative filings
- Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes
- Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices
- Assist with trial and arbitration preparation, including preparation and management of trial exhibits
- Aid attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests
- Gather relevant information from various sources, including legal research databases
- Liaise between trial teams and internal/external third parties
- Assist with voir-dire, jury selection, and witness preparation
- Address client inquiries regarding case status and progress
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and expectations
