Senior Intellectual Property Paralegal - Manage client portfolios, including all filings and correspondence for US, PCT, and foreign prosecution. Responsible for creating, revising, and filing prosecution documents, corresponding with foreign associates, and timely reporting of official correspondence. Salary: Negotiable based on experience Job Title: Senior Intellectual Property Paralegal Experience: Minimum of 5 years in international, PCT, and US prosecution Overview: - Responsible for managing client portfolios and all related filings and correspondence for US, PCT, and foreign prosecution - Must have excellent attention to detail, strong organizational and prioritization skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Highly adaptable, proactive, and possess strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills - Strong working knowledge of Microsoft products and comfort with technology required - Must be able to work independently and in a team environment - Strong customer service orientation and excellent oral and written communication skills Responsibilities: - Support various intellectual property attorneys to provide excellent service to clients - Prepare and file, or instruct, on all aspects of US, PCT, and foreign prosecution - Draft formality documents, attend to document legalization, and comply with priority document requirements - Review and maintain a docket of associated deadlines for assigned clients - Timely report official communications to clients and foreign associates - Consistently achieve 1500 billable hour requirement (including approved non-billable time) - Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in international, PCT, and US prosecution - High school diploma (or equivalent) required; college degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred - Must meet requirements to be a Paralegal as defined by the State of California (if residing in California) - Thorough knowledge of USPTO practices and patent procedural requirements Benefits: - Comprehensive benefit program including Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, 401(k) Retirement, Disability and Life insurance, Adoption Assistance, and Backup Care for Dependents Apply for this job online Email this job to a friend Share on your newsfeed Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer/M/F/Vet/Disabled.
