Law firm Morgan & Morgan is currently seeking a highly organized and customer-oriented Pre Suit Paralegal to join their Case Management team in Philadelphia. This position offers a competitive salary and a generous bonus plan.

As a Pre Suit Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in assisting attorneys with developing settlements, preparing documents and correspondence, and negotiating case settlements with insurance carriers. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a case manager and a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

Responsibilities:

- Provide proactive, daily interaction with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers
- Order medical records and communicate with providers during course of treatment
- Obtain necessary documents to support injury and liability positions
- Interact with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances
- Negotiate case settlements with insurance carriers and deductions of outstanding medical balances with providers
- Work directly with multiple coworkers involved in the management and support of case files
- Maintain organized case files and prepare comprehensive demands for submission to carriers
- Interact with attorneys and present case synopsis when required
- In-office position, Monday through Friday

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
- Prior experience as a case manager (preferred)
- At least 2 years of legal or insurance adjuster experience
- Ability to multitask, organize, prioritize, and handle a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail
- Proficient knowledge of legal procedures and documentation
- Strong negotiating skills and a winning attitude
