MMA Mid-Atlantic offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced and award-winning environment. ## Job Summary As Compliance Liaison, you will be responsible for providing our MMA Mid-Atlantic Region’s Employee Health & Benefits (“EHB”) internal team with clarification and guidance on a broad range of compliance topics applicable to health and welfare plans, including ERISA, PPACA, COBRA, HIPAA, Internal Revenue Code (including Section 125), FSAs, HRAs, HSAs, FMLA and other state and federal regulations. You will be working with our Compliance Center of Excellence, regional carrier partners, and our regional Producer/Account Management Leadership Groups to establish and maintain understandable compliance resources for our EHB team members to ultimately utilize as resources for our clients. ## Locations This job is available in 7 locations: * 2301 Sugar Bush Road, Raleigh, NC 27612, United States of America * 20 Wight Ave., Hunt Valley, MD 21030, United States of America * 4900 Libbie Mill East Boulevard, Richmond, VA 23230, United States of America * 5555 Glenridge Connector, ., Glenridge Highlands I, Atlanta, GA 30342, United States of America * 870 South Pleasantburg Drive, Greenville, SC 29607, United States of America * 5605 Carnegie Boulevard, Carnegie X, Charlotte, NC 28209, United States of America * 3625 North Elm Street, Greensboro, NC 27455, United States of America ## Job ID Operations Job Id R_255489 ## Responsibilities As Compliance Liaison, you will be responsible for: * Conducting research, responding to benefits compliance inquiries, and providing internal training for our employee benefit consultants and support teams. * Understanding the impacts of legislative issues and compliance standards regarding employer sponsored health and welfare plan administration. * Collaborating with appropriate members of the organization to ensure effective outcomes related to projects, tasks and initiatives. ## Qualifications We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills: * Minimum of 5-7 years previous insurance agency/brokerage experience in employee benefits. * In-depth understanding of Health & Welfare Plans and compliance resources. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills; take initiative; be solution focused; and be a change agent for the organization. * Detailed knowledge of the agency procedures, and corporate, industry, state and federal compliance regulations.
