## Associate Litigation Attorney

Spire Law is a young, growing, and remote-only civil litigation law firm located in Orlando, Florida. We are looking for an Associate Litigation Attorney to join our team and help us build relationships with clients by providing them with legal advice and counsel. The position is full-time and remote, with the option to work from home in pajamas.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and litigating 20+ matters simultaneously, particularly in the areas of wage and hour, ADA, B2B commercial disputes, and other employment matters such as FMLA and Title VII. This individual must be licensed, practicing attorney for at least two years and have experience in agency investigations such as EEOC, DOL, or NLRB. They must also be technologically competent and current member of the Florida Bar in good standing with no discipline history.

This position offers a competitive market rate base salary plus bonus. Bonuses begin once you have billed over 1500 hours and increase based on your billing and clients returning to you. Full compensation is anticipated to be between $90,000 to $150,000 annually, though may be higher with significant experience. We also offer a benefits package which includes 401(k) with employer match, health, dental, and vision insurance, HSA, short term disability, 3 weeks paid time off, and professional development assistance.

### Job Responsibilities:

- Manage and litigate 20+ matters simultaneously, particularly in the areas of: wage and hour, ADA, B2B commercial disputes, and other employment matters such as FMLA and Title VII
- Litigate cases supported by a legal assistant/paralegal with other attorneys as a team
- Mentor legal assistants and paralegals
- Continuously improve our legal processes
- Join calls with clients and potential clients

### Basic Qualifications:

- Licensed, practicing attorney for 2 years
- Substantively worked on wage and hour, ADA, Title VII, FMLA matters, or business to business litigation
- Participated in agency investigations such as EEOC, DOL, or NLRB
- Substantively worked on some federal court cases
- Substantively involved in taking or defending depositions
- Substantively involved in dispositive motion practice, hearings, or mediations
- Current member of the Florida Bar in good standing with no discipline history
- Technologically competent

### Bonus Points:

- 3+ years . w/2+ years in employment law OR 4+ years as a civil litigator
- You are multilingual
- You bring a book of business
- Licensed to practice in more than one State
