# Bankruptcy Paralegal ## Fully Remote • Remote Worker Jimerson Birr is a law firm with a track record spanning over a decade winning local, state, and national awards for being a “Best Company to Work For,” “Fastest Growing Company,” and “Best Law Firms in America.” Our firm is looking for a Bankruptcy Paralegal to join our team and help our clients protect their rights, businesses, properties, investments, and finances. ### Requirements - - Experience providing support for attorneys by conducting legal research, document review and management, drafting legal documents, E-Discovery, etc. - Must have strong technical skills – Microsoft Suite, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Litify, Endicia Connect, Scansnap, eFax, CSC prepare, State and Federal filing systems - Must be a highly organized self-starter who can effectively and efficiently manage their time - Ideal role for someone who wants growth opportunities and process ownership within a growing practice - Client-service orientation with the ability to identify and leverage opportunities for business development ### Responsibilities - Vetting new clients, performing intakes, opening matters, and handing the matters over to attorneys - Developing case strategy by conducting all necessary research, issuing correspondence, and obtaining key information - Supporting the team on non-billable efforts by managing workflow, purchase orders, shared calendars and inboxes, etc. - Drafting legal documents, communicating with attorneys, clients, and other bankruptcy professionals on various bankruptcy matters - Managing and coordinating deadlines and scheduling - Deadline and appointment management - Preparing attorneys for proceedings - Special projects as assigned ### Benefits At Jimerson Birr, we are dedicated to our employee's professional and personal growth.
