Our team of highly skilled attorneys and paralegals provide exceptional service to our clients in managing their IP portfolios. We have offices across the United States and offer a hybrid workplace for our employees. Position Summary: As a Senior Intellectual Property Paralegal, you will be responsible for managing client portfolios, including all filings and correspondence for both US, PCT, and foreign prosecution. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong organizational and prioritization skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a high level of analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, be highly adaptable and proactive, and have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft products and technology. The ability to work both independently and in a team environment is a must. Key Responsibilities: - Support intellectual property attorneys in providing excellent service to our clients - Prepare and file, or instruct, on all aspects of US, PCT, and foreign prosecution - Draft formality documents, comply with priority document requirements, and attend to document legalization when necessary - Review and maintain a docket of associated deadlines for assigned clients - Timely report official communications to clients and foreign associates - Consistently achieve a 1500 billable hour requirement (including approved non-billable time) - Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications: - Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in international, PCT, and US prosecution - High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree and/or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved school preferred - Must meet requirements to be a Paralegal in California, if residing in the state - Thorough knowledge of patent procedural requirements and USPTO practices Benefits: We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental and Vision insurance, 401(k) Retirement, Disability and Life insurance, Adoption Assistance, and Backup Care for Dependents.
