Foley & Lardner, a top law firm, is seeking a Director of Paralegals to join their team. In this role, the Director will oversee all aspects of the firm's paraprofessional program, including recruiting, training, and performance management. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of legal or paraprofessional experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain a firm-wide paraprofessional program across all three law departments - Business Law, Intellectual Property, and Litigation.
- Analyze and improve existing paraprofessional programs and staffing structures.
- Implement strategic and innovative approaches to improve overall operation and client service.
- Collaborate with Human Resources on hiring criteria and development frameworks.
- Support the professional development of paraprofessionals through onboarding, training, and knowledge management resources.
- Address attorney and client support needs and create workflow coverage plans.
- Collaborate with legal departments and accounting & finance on paraprofessional billing rates.
- Manage budget for paraprofessional program, including salaries and bonuses.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Minimum of 10 years of legal and/or paraprofessional experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Experience working with paraprofessionals in multiple practice areas preferred.
