Senior Litigation Paralegal at Top Personal Injury Law Firm in Philadelphia - Competitive Salary and Benefits

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Paralegal to join our team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Key Responsibilities:

- Preparation of legal documents including pleadings, motions, and complaints
- E-filing all court documents in state and federal courts
- Communication with clients, court, and counsel
- Conducting legal research and factual investigations
- Preparation of discovery documents and responses
- Drafting and serving summonses
- Coordination and summarization of depositions
- Preparation of trial binders and exhibits
- Drafting pleadings, motions, and appellate documents and filing them with the court
- Performing administrative duties such as managing deadlines, organizing case files, and scheduling hearings
- Maintaining pleadings and discovery indexes
- Organizing exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices
- Assisting attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests
- Gathering relevant information from various sources
- Liaising between trial teams and internal/external third parties
- Witness preparation
- Assisting with case settlements
- Other tasks as requested by the attorney

Qualifications:

- Associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience (preferred)
- 10+ years of litigation experience
- Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program (preferred)
- Experience in Personal Injury, Workers' Compensation, Premises Liability, or other injury-related practice areas (preferred)
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in calendaring depositions, mediations, and hearings
- Knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, court rules and procedures, etc.
- Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute
