# Employment Law Associate (Multiple Positions)

Law Firm is seeking an associate to work in its growing national management-side Employment, Labor & Workforce Management practice. This position requires knowledge of federal and state labor & employment laws, along with litigation experience. The ideal candidate should have experience providing advice and counsel on workplace law issues, including wage and hour, employee relations, mitigation of risk, ADA and other workplace accommodation, employment agreements, reductions-in-force, and employment-related policies.

## Required Qualifications

- Minimum of one year of relevant labor and employment law experience.
- Knowledge of federal and state labor & employment laws (., wage and hour, trade secret law, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, ADEA, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and similar state laws).
- Experience handling certain aspects of litigation such as interviewing witnesses, reviewing electronically stored documents, drafting pleadings and various motions and briefs, conducting and defending depositions, interacting with clients and opposing counsel, and attending court appearances.
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- is mandatory

## Salary

The expected salary range for this position is $185,000 - $310,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and where applicable, licensure or certification obtained. Market and Firm factors are also considered. In addition to the base salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
