We are currently seeking a Juris Doctor (JD) graduate with 3-5+ years of experience providing legal advice in a corporate or professional services environment. Strong preference will be given to candidates with experience practicing employment law in California and/or New York. In this role, you will be responsible for advising the firm on employment-related matters, staying up-to-date on legislative and regulatory changes, and developing policies and procedures to ensure compliance. You will also have the opportunity to work on pre-litigation employment matters and provide training to team members on various employment law topics.

Responsibilities:

- Advise the firm on employment-related matters under US federal, state, and local laws
- Monitor legislative and regulatory changes and develop policies and procedures to ensure compliance
- Provide training to team members on various employment law topics
- Draft and negotiate employment-related documents, such as offer letters and separation agreements
- Support the firm's benefits team on compensation, benefits, and immigration matters
- Assist on pre-litigation employment matters as needed by the Office of General Counsel
- Perform other duties assigned by firm leadership

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
- 3-5+ years of experience providing legal advice in a corporate or professional services environment
- Strong understanding of US employment law, including discrimination, harassment, employment contracts, and wage and hour laws
- Ability to work independently and provide sound legal advice
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
