Job Title: Employee Relations Partner (REMOTE) Department: Human Resources Location: Southeast Region (REMOTE) Summary The Employee Relations Partner is responsible for providing consistent, tactical Employee Relations consultation to Managers and Employees. They will conduct HR related investigations and provide recommendations to resolve employee issues in adherence to company policies and procedures and local, state, and federal regulations. This position will also monitor employee relations trends and provide guidance to minimize legal liability. Key Responsibilities - Oversee ServiceNow and Navex systems for reported concerns and conduct fair and timely investigations in accordance with company policies and regulations - Advise supervisors and managers on employee conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and terminations - Partner with Operational Management, HR, Labor Relations, and Legal Teams to address complex Employee Relations solutions - Ensure high-quality HR support through performance management, legal compliance, administration of union Collective Bargaining Agreements, and employee communication - Stay updated on legal requirements and employment legislation within the supported region - Travel to company sites within the region as needed Skills and Abilities - Ability to conduct sensitive investigations and identify violations of regulations and company policies - Strong organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills - Impartial conflict resolution skills - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to build professional relationships at all levels of the organization - Ability to handle confidential information appropriately - Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision - Willingness to learn and train on technology and case management systems - Able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment - Detail-oriented with strong follow-up practices - Proficient in MS Office suite and knowledgeable about employment laws and regulations Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational management, law, or equivalent major OR four years of additional experience - Five or more years of experience in HR compliance, HR generalist, or employee relations - Proficient in MS Office suite and knowledgeable about employment laws and regulations - Willingness to travel up to 10% Salary - Salary ranges from $60K to $70K, based on internal equity, market data, applicant skills, and relevant experience Benefits - Comprehensive health and welfare benefits, including medical, prescription, dental, vision, life and disability insurance - Paid time off for vacation, illness, bereavement, family and parental leave - Tax-advantaged 401(k) retirement savings plan Ryder is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free workplace.
