Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.

Job Title: Senior Paralegal - Litigation

Experience: 5-7 years of experience in litigation and understanding of FINRA

Location: Boston, Massachusetts

Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience

Department: Litigation Practice Group

Full-Time Position: Monday through Friday, 9:00 . to 5:30 . with flexibility for additional hours as needed.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and organize case and client files
- Coordinate and gather necessary information and evidence for discovery
- Prepare subpoenas and Freedom of Information Requests
- Assist with summarizing depositions and other legal documents
- Prepare trial materials and exhibits
- Coordinate trial logistics and technology resources
- Assist with drafting and proofreading briefs and motions
- Conduct legal and factual research
- Attend firm meetings and continuing education programs
- Adhere to legal and ethical principles
- Utilize technical skills such as document management and research software
- Lift and move items up to 20 pounds as needed
- Travel may be required occasionally

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Paralegal certificate preferred but not required
- 5-7 years of experience in litigation and FINRA
- Knowledge of legal terminology, principles, and processes
- Familiarity with court rules, procedures, and evidence rules
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks
- Proficiency in MS Office and other legal software programs
- Ability to adapt to change and balance competing demands
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Ability to work in a professional office environment
