Litigation Paralegal The candidate will research law, investigate facts, and prepare document's for attorney's according to established policie's and procedures. Continual review and management of case files. Prepare initial discovery, ., interrogatories, request for production, request for admissions. E-File in both State and Federal Court systems. Journal deadline's for response's and monitor for timeliness. Prepare draft response's to discovery, including document production's and corresponding privilege logs. Prepare legal document's such a's subpoenas, brief's and pleadings. Prepare case and medical chronologies, agreements, deposition summaries/abstract's and trial binder's for use by attorneys. Investigate fact's a's requested by attorneys. Ensure proper indexing and filing of original legal documents. Trial preparation - expert research, prepare trial binders, exhibit list's and binders, trial subpoenas, engage in witnes's management; schedule trial testimony and other related arrangements, a's needed. Attend trial a's necessary. Bachelor 's degree i's preferred. Should have 5+ year's of insurance defense experience with a specific focu's on personal injury and property damage required. Experience with trial preparation and participation/attendance, including organization of witnes's material's and preparation of physical and electronic exhibits; experience with exhibit manipulation software such a's Sanction/Trial Director/TrialPad, Relativity and PowerPoint i's required. E-Filing experience in both State and Federal Court system's i's required. Knowledge in a variety of area's including complex litigation, transportation, product's liability, toxic tort, chemical exposure, fire litigation, construction defect and general liability i's required.
