Job Title: Pricing Analyst (Hybrid Schedule)

Job Responsibilities:
The Pricing Analyst will be integral in assisting the Client Value Team with the law firm's pricing strategy. This role involves supporting the development of fee arrangements aligned with the firm's strategic objectives and analyzing their outcomes for continued success. Key responsibilities include:

- Developing fee agreements at various organizational levels, including Firm, Department, Practice/Industry Group, and Client, while analyzing prior work and current best practices.
- Producing and executing pricing models for diverse projects.
- Collaborating with Business Development to prepare necessary pricing content for RFP responses and other presentations like client meetings.
- Maintaining and updating databases related to fee arrangements.
- Assisting attorneys with Alternative Fee Arrangement (AFA) education, modeling, and creation.
- Providing financial analysis and pricing guidance to attorneys on their client/matter portfolios.
- Offering coaching to Partners, business professionals, and Client Relationship Leaders on crafting effective pricing solutions that balance client needs with the firm's profitability.
- Assisting in closed matter analyses and contributing to Client Value Team projects and initiatives.
- Ensuring high-level service delivery, addressing service failures, and prioritizing customer needs.
- Performing ad hoc analysis using the firm's profitability model and offering recommendations for increased profitability and efficiencies.
- Summarizing detailed pricing analyses for high-level consumption.
- Compiling data from various sources for report preparation.
- Working cross-functionally to ensure pricing-related RFP requirements are complete.

The role may involve additional responsibilities as needed, with the firm reserving the right to modify job duties and responsibilities.

Education and Experience Information:
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor of Science in Business/Finance, although degrees in economics, statistics, data science, or related disciplines will be considered. A minimum of three years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, data science, or a paralegal field is required. Experience in a large law firm or professional service firm sector is advantageous, as is experience with RFP responses and strategic pricing.

Skills required for this position include:

- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, Vlookup, charts/graphs, what/if statements, and financial formulas.
- Familiarity with Power BI or other business intelligence software.
- Ability to present complex financial information to various audiences in multiple formats.
- Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
- Experience with accounting systems like 3E System.
- Proficiency in using generative AI programs like Microsoft Co-Pilot and Chat GPT.
- Knowledge of data querying using SQL or tools like Snowflake.
- Experience with collaborative software such as Microsoft Teams, Slack, or Asana.
- Strong analytical skills and intellectual curiosity.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet reporting deadlines.
- Integrity, credibility, and ethical behavior.
- Familiarity with reverse auction processes and strategic pricing recommendations.
- Experience negotiating fees and providing justification for recommendations.
- Capability to work in high-pressure environments, such as law firms or big four consulting firms.

Salary Information:
The anticipated salary range for the Pricing Analyst position varies by location:

- Pittsburgh, Miami, Houston, Dallas, Atlanta: $71,000 - $79,000
- Chicago, Philadelphia: $76,000 - $85,000
- Princeton, Washington, DC: $81,000 - $85,000

Actual pay may differ based on factors such as location and experience.
