H2: Job Summary
- Responsible for managing accounting staff and overseeing financial reporting, billing, collections, and budget preparation
- Recruits and hires accounting and financial staff and conducts performance evaluations
- Conducts account research and analysis and explains billing invoices and accounting policies to staff, vendors, and clients
- Provides accounting policy orientation for new staff and oversees payment processing teams' schedules and workload
- Addresses employee concerns and corrective action if needed and interacts with auditors in completing audits
- Maintains updated backup assignments and coverage and manages Client Onboarding and Client Directives
- Prepares and maintains various internal and client reports and reconciles A/R
- Resolves outstanding issues and proactively updates management to ensure accuracy and timely completion of tasks

H2: Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred
- Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Experience in a legal work environment preferred
- Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to diagnose and resolve computer technical issues
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite and knowledge of CLS collection software a plus
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 20 pounds

H2: Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $70,000 to $80,000 annually
- Medical, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, Life, 401k, and Profit Sharing
- Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Holidays

H2: Travel
- Up to 5% travel required (excluding local commute)
