Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and take accurate messages when individuals are not available
- Receive deliveries by courier or messenger, and send and receive faxes
- Prepare and draft legal documents for filing and correspondence
- Ensure accuracy of all documents prepared
- Perform administrative duties such as research, filing, mailings, and organizing files
- Conduct legal research for assigned issues
- Enter billable hours into designated software
- Perform other tasks as requested by Firm Management Team
Qualifications:
- Law firm experience preferred
- Domestic experience preferred
- Familiarity with PC programs
- Strong computer skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Senior Paralegal / Legal Assistant positions available for those with prior family law or litigation experience
