Job Title: Case Manager

Job Responsibilities:
- Engage in daily interaction with existing and potential clients both via telephone and in-person meetings.
- Responsible for ordering medical records from providers and maintaining communication with clients and providers throughout the course of treatment.
- Obtain necessary documents to support injury and/or liability positions.
- Interact with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances.
- Negotiate case settlements with insurance carriers and negotiate reductions of outstanding medical balances with providers.
- Collaborate directly with multiple coworkers involved in the management and support of case files.
- Maintain organized case files and prepare comprehensive demands and assemble support for submission to carriers.
- Interact with attorneys and present case synopsis when required.
- Manage case files from intake to closing under the direction of an attorney.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to meet the needs of the business.

Education and Experience Information:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience working in a legal position or as an insurance adjuster is preferred.
- Negotiating skills are required.
- Ability to be a team player and follow procedures.
- Must proactively interact with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision.
- Highly organized with the capacity to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong writing and communication skills along with attention to detail are essential.
- Extensive computer and database expertise, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and the ability to type no less than 35 words per minute.
- The position is not eligible for remote work.
