Job Title: Mid-Level Litigation Associate
Job Responsibilities:
- Join the Litigation practice at the law firm's Washington, . office.
- Engage in various litigation tasks, including drafting pleadings and motions.
- Prepare and respond to discovery requests.
- Second-chair depositions or conduct witness interviews.
- Conduct legal research pertinent to litigation cases.
- Participate in and manage document collection and review efforts.
- Work on a variety of commercial and regulatory matters for a diverse national client base.
- Interact directly with partners and clients to gain increasing responsibility.
- Develop skills necessary to manage complex cases independently.
Education and Experience Information:
- Candidates should have three to five years of litigation experience.
- Experience includes drafting pleadings and motions, discovery, depositions, legal research, and document review.
- A district clerkship and/or appellate clerkship is strongly preferred.
- Prior experience at a law firm is strongly preferred.
- Candidates should possess strong academic credentials.
- Professional references are required.
Salary Information:
- The base salary for this position is expected to be between $260,000 to $360,000 annually.
- The actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience, and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable law.
