Paralegal for Trusts & Estates The candidate will be preparing estate tax and gift tax returns. Assisting with probate administration, including opening/closing estates, e-filing, preparing accountings, and handling asset transfers. Assisting with trust funding and administration. Communicating with clients and advisors. Should have 3+ years of probate, trust, and tax experience. A general understanding of estate planning principles and trust funding procedures is needed. Knowledge of beneficiary designation forms and the ability to coordinate with clients' financial advisors are needed. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and good judgment are essential. Should have the ability to manage high-volume priorities while working with others to meet deadlines. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, especially when working with clients. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe is needed.
