Job Title: Doc Prep Processor - Remote Work from Home

Job Responsibilities:
A Legal Assistant in this role is responsible for providing legal support and administration to lawyers and other legal professionals in the representation of financial institutions. The specific duties include:
- Assisting attorneys in bankruptcy proceedings by reviewing daily reports to ensure efficient and timely file handling.
- Reviewing client-provided information and documents to determine if a referral is warranted.
- Organizing, analyzing, and cross-checking/validating information.
- Drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, objections, and assignments.
- Proofreading legal forms and documents for accuracy.
- Providing support to paralegals, management, and attorneys.
- Assisting with additional projects as needed.

Education and Experience Information:
- A high school diploma is required for this position.
- Previous experience in a law firm is preferred but not required.
- Experience in bankruptcy or mortgage servicing is preferred but not required.
- Relevant computer knowledge and experience are necessary.
- Candidates should possess excellent communication skills (both oral and written), interpersonal skills, planning and organizing skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
- Strong research, analytical, and critical thinking skills are essential.
