Job Title: Managing Partner
Job Responsibilities:
- Shape the future of the practice and contribute to the law firm’s continued growth.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture among attorneys and legal staff.
- Lead business development efforts, working closely with the Firm Founder to grow the practice in different jurisdictions.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, leveraging a solid book of business.
- Ensure the highest standards of legal practice, ethics, and client-focused service are upheld.
- Lead and elevate lawyers and participate on the Leadership Team.
- Oversee attorney performance and KPIs, ensuring alignment with Core Values.
- Develop and enforce accountability measures.
- Ensure workload is properly distributed, considering expertise and capacity.
- Handle client communication and satisfaction of work product.
- Assist with recruiting A-Player attorneys and staff.
Education and Experience Information:
- A licensed attorney with at least 10 years’ experience in law and in managing senior personnel.
- A natural leader who takes initiative and is not afraid of difficult conversations.
- Action-oriented with a sense of urgency for accomplishing goals.
- A clear communicator who speaks plain-English, using legalese only when necessary.
- Conscientious and highly accountable.
- A problem solver who finds solutions and improves efficiency.
- An accomplished rainmaker with a portable book of business of at least $750,000.
- Enthusiastic, energetic, and confident.
- Responsive and proactive, keeping those that need-to-know well-informed.
Salary Information:
- Total Compensation: $350,000 – $750,000 (based on experience, book of business, and performance).
- Hybrid workplace.
